Settings Panel

Main
The Settings Panel contains the following main categories

Changes are automatically saved when you close the Settings Panel (click on the OK button).
General
Settings General Panel
If your computer running WallCooler connects to the Internet using a proxy server, you will need to manually add the proxy server's details in the the Settings General Panel.
If you have a started bridge, you will not be able to change your proxy settings. To do so, close the Settings Panel, stop you bridge and open the Setting Panel again.
 
Use HTTP Proxy Click on the Use HTTP Proxy check box to enable the Hostname and Port Number fields
Hostname Enter the proxy server's name or IP Address
Port Number Enter the proxy server's port number
Some proxy servers are open for all users on a corparate or private networks. In case the proxy server requires users to authenticate, you will need to provide a login and password.
Proxy authentication Click on the Proxy authentication check box to enable the Login and Password fields
Login Enter the login required by the proxy server
Password Enter the password required by the proxy server

Settings Connectivity Panel
 
History
The History Panel in Settings->History Settings contains the setup used to control various aspects of the main History Panel (located in the bottom part of the application) such as display and size.
Settings History Panel
Max History Tasks Limits the maximum number of entries in the main History Panel to the specified value. If the number of tasks gets larger then the "Max History Tasks" value then WallCooler will remove the oldest task entry for every new entry
